During the many years of its existence, our school has made a lot of friends both in the country and abroad .

Our school has been visited by a great number of representatives from the social, health and other scientific institutions from Russia, USA, Egypt, Poland, France, Germany, India, Pakistan, England, Chile, Italy and Japan in the context of exchanging professional experience with other institutions.

The committee for the cooperation with the UNICEF has, together with social and humanitarian organisations from our country, organised a seminar 'The situation of mentally retarded children' aimed to initialise a series of actions with children's care as the focus.

The cooperation with the Ministry for Education of the Republic of Serbia has resulted in the establishment of permanent contacts aimed at getting a broader view of our school's situation and performance, as well as the setting up of aid programmes. Guests of the school have been, among others, Dr Dragoslav Mladenovic, Dr Jovo Todorovic, the Minister for Information Dr Radmila Milentijevic, as well as assistant ministers from the Ministry for the Elementary and Secondary Education.

The Faculty and Society dealing with the mentally handicapped are constantly cooperating with our school. The students from the aforementioned Faculty as well as from the Medical High School perform their practice classes in our school.

The Municipality of Cukarica has made a significant contribution to our school's affirmation.

His Excellency, the Serbian Patriarch Mr Pavle was present at the school inauguration ceremony on January 27th 1995, on Saint Sava's Day, as well as at the celebration of the School Patron Saint's Day ('SLAVA').

The school has a good cooperation with the Serbian Orthodox Church's Clerical College. Therefore, while celebrating the fiftieth anniversary of its work in the Poslovna Cukarica's rooms, the school organised a round table on the subject 'Saint Sava - enlightener and teacher', with the at the time Dean of the Clerical College, the well-known Slavic studies' expert, linguist and philosopher, Prof Dr Dimitrije Kalezic, together with the professor of the History of the Serbian Church, Dr Predrag Puzovic as well as Prof Dr Radmila Marinkovic from the Philological Faculty in Belgrade as participants.

The school has an excellent cooperation with the 'Buda Davidovic' engineering school from Obrenovac, Agrohemical school 'Obrenovac', Factory 'Umka' as well as with other similar institutions, one of them being the Institution for the Persons with Problematical Upbringing.

Many other organisations belong to the group of our friends and associates independently of the our school's field of work and activities.
